Simon Ellis

Simon has been with Harkness Henry since 1985. He retired from the partnership in 2005 but remains with the firm as a consultant. Before becoming a lawyer, Simon worked in mining, agriculture and horticulture and machinery sales. His experience in these fields led to a particular interest in the practical applications of law and the training of young lawyers to be “useful”. Simon has lectured at Waikato University on company law and continues to run annual workshops for the New Zealand Law Society for young lawyers. Simon is a past Chairman of the Lawlink Group.
