Matthew Peploe
Matthew joined Harkness Henry in 1997 after graduating from Waikato University. Since that time he has gained experience in a variety of commercial, company and trust transactions. Matthew has acted for significant corporate clients providing advice relating to corporate structuring and governance, financing, contract negotiation, and merger and acquisition transactions. In addition to his general experience in commercial and property law, Matthew has developed particular expertise in the law of trusts and provides legal advice to a wide range of private trusts and not-for-profit organisations. This has included running training sessions for trustees of charitable organisations about their legal obligations and presenting a seminar about trusts for the Auckland District Law Society. Matthew has also written a guide to family trusts which is used by Lawlink Group firms through New Zealand.
Matthew recently graduated from Waikato University with a first class honours masters degree in law, and is confident that the analytical, communication and research skills he developed while completing this graduate degree will enhance the legal services he can provide to clients.
